 Hurricane Katrina had an impact on many things including my Mardi Gras videos. All my master tapes thru 2005 went underwater. Then to make matters worse, PayPal dumped me for selling indecent videos. Now things are looking up. I was able to recover the 2004 video. What's even better is that I still have the great compilations of the best scenes over the years, DVD's of the best of Mardi Gras Volumes 1 and 2.

 2006 was the first Mardi Gras after Katrina. While the storm destroyed half the housing, It did little to the enthusiasm of the revelers in the French Quarter. You will see New Orleans rebound in the 2006 DVD.

 Something unique about the 2007 DVD is that it contains the outrageous "BOURBON STREET AWARDS" costume contest. It’s not to be missed. There’s even a lot more of it in the 2009 edition. Warning: The Bourbon Street Awards contains strong language.
